The Color Scale of Things

Inspired by the format of color standardization catalogs like Pantone, ‘Color Scale of Things’ is an artist’s book that translates, reveals, and plays with the relationships between color, word, and image. It presents 70 colors through photographs of the elements we use to name colors in popular language, thus bringing the literal meaning of the word into the form of a photographic sign.
